Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 12, 2025, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gates, at 10:53 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gates; Lalani; Alders; Davis, Yvonne; Morgan; and Virdell.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1844, the companion to HB 2494.

The chair moved that SB 1844, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Gates; Alders; Davis, Yvonne; Morgan; Virdell (5).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Lalani; Hinojosa; Hunter; Lopez, Ray (4).

At 10:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
