Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 24, 2025, and permission granted on May 24, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harris, at 4:07 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harris; Martinez; Barry; Bell, Cecil; Buckley; Fairly; Gámez; and Villalobos.

A quorum was present.

SB 1359

The chair laid out SB 1359, as the companion to HB 3154.

The chair moved that SB 1359, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

At 4:10 p.m., on the motion of Representative Martinez and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
