Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2025, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lambert, at 12:51 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Lambert; Plesa; Bumgarner; Garcia, Linda; Hayes; Holt; Schoolcraft; and Vo.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which House Bill 700, as substituted, was reported by committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the substitute was adopted. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

The chair moved that HB 700, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Lambert; Bumgarner; Hayes; Holt; Schoolcraft (5).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Plesa; Bryant; Garcia, Linda; Vo (4).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).

 

At 12:59 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
