Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21, 2025, and permission granted on May 21, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lambert, at 3:00 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Lambert; Plesa; Bryant; Bumgarner; Garcia, Linda; Hayes; and Holt.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 414 as pending business.

The chair moved that SB 414, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion failed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Lambert; Bumgarner; Hayes; Holt (4).

Nays:                           Representatives Plesa; Bryant; Garcia, Linda (3).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Schoolcraft; Vo (2).

At 3:07 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
