Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 20, 2025, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative VanDeaver, at 4:48 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives VanDeaver; Campos; Bucy; Collier; Cunningham; Frank; Jones, Jolanda; Olcott; Pierson; Schofield; and Shofner.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 25, substituted, as pending business.

The chair moved that SB 25, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

The chair moved that SB 2721, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair moved that SB 2891, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
