Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 2025, and permission granted on March 20, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on S/C on Telecommunications & Broadband met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchía, at 10:06 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Anchía; Hull; and McQueeney.

A quorum was present.

The chair began the posted agenda of invited testimony on matters related to the provision of broadband services in Texas.
