Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 14, 2025, and permission granted on May 14, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Trade, Workforce & Economic Development met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Button, at 2:03 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Button; Talarico; Bell, Keith; Harris Davila; Longoria; Lujan; Luther; Meza; and Richardson.

The chair laid out SB 2337, the companion to HB 4079.

Representative Luther moved that SB 2337, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Bell, Keith; Harris Davila; Longoria; Lujan; Luther; Richardson (6).

Nays:                           Representatives Talarico; Meza (2).

Present, Not Voting:   Representative Button (1).
