Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Congressional Redistricting, Special was held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The following members arrived after the roll was called: Senator Alvarado, Senator Hughes, Senator Miles, Senator Parker.

The Chair made opening remarks and recognized other members to make opening statements.

Witnesses providing public testimony via videoconferencing are shown on the attached list.

At 12:00 PM, the Chair moved that the committee stand at ease until 12:30 PM.

At 12:30 PM Senator King reconvened the meeting.

There being no further witnesses, public testimony was closed.

There being no further business, at 12:42 PM Senator King moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
