Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Congressional Redistricting, Special was held on Monday, July 28, 2025, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 3:04 PM. A quorum was established as the meeting progressed. The following business was transacted:

The following members arrived after the roll was called: Senator Alvarado, Senator Hughes, Senator Paxton, Senator Parker.

The Chair made opening remarks and recognized other members to make opening statements.

Witnesses providing public testimony via videoconferencing are shown on the attached list.

At 5:45 PM Senator Creighton assumed the chair.

At 6:07 PM Senator King resumed the chair.

There being no further witnesses, public testimony was closed.

There being no further business, at 7:26 PM Senator King moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
