Path to an Efficient System of Public Education

The Committee will hear public testimony on the following bills:

HB 1540        Bell, Keith | et al.                      
Relating to governmental entities subject to the sunset review process.

HB 3837        Canales                                   
Relating to the regulation of autonomous vehicles; creating a criminal offense.

HB 5571        Rodríguez Ramos                           
Relating to the review, audit, and oversight of the Texas Education Agency's administration of open-enrollment charter schools by the Sunset Advisory Commission.

SB 370         Perry                                     
Relating to the availability of certain personal information of a child, spouse, or surviving spouse of a current or former employee of the office of the attorney general or of a public defender's office.

SB 2425        Nichols | et al.                          
Relating to the regulation of automated motor vehicles; creating a criminal offense.

The length of public testimony and the number of witnesses may be limited at the discretion of the chair.
